What do you think made the birther conspiracy so large?

why would you say it is embarrassing to anyone,obama's grandmother said he was born in kenya in one sentence then changed it in another,his wife said he was from kenya and all people wanted was to verify it. which he could have done right away but he chose not to,it reflects badly on obama more than anyone else
